Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use Crisply (crisply.fyi), why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We try to keep it short and plain-spoken. If anything here is unclear, email hello@crisply.fyi.
Who we are
Crisply is operated by Simple Flo Solutions. We build a tool that turns raw content (documents, notes, data) into branded, interactive reports you can share with your clients.
What we collect
Account data
When you sign up we store your email address, a hashed password (via Supabase Auth), and any profile fields you choose to fill in (display name, avatar, timezone, notification preferences).
Content you give us
The text, files, and data you paste or upload to generate an artifact are stored so we can render the report and so you can edit or regenerate it later. You can delete any artifact at any time, which also removes the underlying input.
Billing data
Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, a Stripe customer ID, and subscription status. We never see or store your card number.
Report telemetry
When you share a hosted report, Crisply records first-party visitor analytics on that report: anonymous session ID, country and city (from IP, never stored raw), device class, referrer, section dwell time, scroll depth, and any questions a visitor asks the report’s chat. This is so you, the report owner, can see how your clients engage. We don’t use third-party ad trackers.
Product analytics
We log anonymous usage of the Crisply app itself (pages visited, features used) to improve the product. No third-party ad networks.
How we use it
- To generate and host the reports you ask us to build.
- To show you analytics on your reports.
- To bill your subscription and send account emails.
- To fix bugs, detect abuse, and improve the product.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of vetted subprocessors to run Crisply. Your content passes through these services; they cannot use it for their own purposes.
- Anthropic — runs the AI models that generate artifacts. Content you submit is sent to Anthropic to produce the report.
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — application hosting and CDN.
- Stripe — subscription billing.
- Resend — transactional email (welcome, view alerts, digests).
- Inngest — background job queue for generation.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with advertisers. We’ll disclose it only if required by law and we’ll tell you when we can.
How long we keep it
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Artifact content: until you delete the artifact.
- Report telemetry: 12 months, then rolled up or deleted.
- Billing records: 7 years, for tax compliance.
Your rights
You can export your artifacts, delete any artifact, delete your account, or request a full copy of what we have on you. Email hello@crisply.fyi and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies. Hosted reports set a session ID in sessionStorage so we can measure one visitor’s journey through the report — cleared when the tab closes.
Changes
If we materially change this policy we’ll email active customers and post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
